In the towns overlooking its banks there are expert instructors to provide the first bases for beginners, but everyone can access to the water and have lots of fun! If you like outdoor activities, but prefer the mainland, Trentino offers many things to do in close contact with nature. Trekking is appreciated by children of all ages and Riva del Garda is truly a perfect location. From the power station of the city begins the Ponale, one of the most famous paths. Between steep slopes and mountain roads, you reach the characteristic terrace of lovers, from which you can enjoy romantic sunsets. The most scenic route of Lake Garda, however, is the Path Busatte Tempesta, ideal for children aged 6 and over, since the terrain is not suitable for strollers. Between a walk in the woods and an afternoon on sail boat, you could also visit a park for families. The parks on Lake Garda are mainly located in the south-east area, near Peschiera. Here, surrounded by Trentino vegetation and clear skies, there are water parks, zoos, large gardens and many attractions for families. The most visited is Gardaland, an hour's drive from our hotel in Riva del Garda. The amusement park is a real paradise for children, but will also entertain teenagers and adults. For nature lovers, a good idea is the Parco Natura Viva safari park, between the lake and Verona. By car or on foot, it is a pleasant attraction for the whole family on Lake Garda.
